What can I expect from Davidoff, Dunhill, and Graycliff? These cigars are all in the 16-20 dollar range. I have thought about buying one just to try it, but they are way out of my price range. I have never spent more than about 12 bucks on a stick before. I know I would either enjoy the cigar but regret spending the money on it or I would really love the cigar and then buy 2 or 3 to enjoy over the next year or so. These cigars would have to be extremely special occasion cigars. Should I bite the bullet and buy one or would I be happier with 2 good Fuentes or Diamond Crowns that I know I would love?

I'm a big Davidoff fan, although I don't have them often ($$$) they are good for when I feel like something a bit more mild. I just picked up a Millenium Robusto which is supposed to have some strength to it. As for the Grayciffes, the Expresso is supposed to be great, I'm saving one for a special occasion myself.

i think the davidoff milleniums are worth the money. there are other davidoff lines that are good, but id take about 10 other cigars for the price. ive never had a dunhill.

I too think the Davidoff Millenniums are well worth the $$ I also agree with marcsheldon that the other Davidoffs aren't worth it with the possible exception of the <<7>> Real Robusto!

Having smoked Davidoff and Dunhill, I guess I will chime in. They are good smokes, but way over priced. Better off investing the same money in Opus X instead. I smoked the Davidoff Anniversario #1 in the wooden tube. Bascially it was a bland cigar and just to pricey. It smoked fantastic and I didnt have to play baby sitter with it, but it lacked almost every thing I look for in a cigar. Strength, body, and flavor.

I used to smoke ALOT of Dunhills too. Good mild cigars and thats about it. Nothing to special IMHO. I've have the Green label one and blah. Smoked the hell out of the blue labels.

If I wanted a very mild cigar and didnt care that I wasted the money, then I would get either of these 2 sticks. But for the same price, better off getting a nice Padron 1964 or 1926. Just my 2 cents worth.

I smoke Davidoff Milleniums and Anniverary Tubo # 3's quite often. They are very expensive but I still buy them. The Dunhills suck as do the Graycliffs( 20 dollar cigars with crap indonesian wrappers).

If I were you I would buy some Fuente Don Carlos, Diamond Crowns( can be had for decent money on sale) or even Opus X ( Fuente Fuente size is only 9 bucks a pop).

Davidoff Milleniums are awesome. I Smoked Davidoff's while in Hawaii. I have not had them since tough.

I do not like Diamond Crown myself but the one i had was a good 6 years ago. The one I got was a $20 stick and it was just plain bland. I know they had been in the cigar shop for some time cuz of the price. The owner let me keep the box which I am impressed with.

I love the Greycliff blue label robusto's, shop by my house has them for 13 a pop, and I really enjoy them. They are alittle lite but have some great flavors.

The Expresso's are good and strong. Running about 17 a pop for them though. There are some alot of other cigars for that price I would rather go for. But they are a very good cigar. Used to be my fav till I turned to the dark side.

Davidoff Milleniums are fantastic. Graycliff Blues are pretty good too. Dunhills are too mild for me. But you really can't go wrong with some of the high end Fuentes.

Never had a Dunhill so I cannot comment on them.
Have tried a few Davidoffs. I did enjoy the 'Millenium' I tried. Smoked 2 Zino Platinum Crowns [the pricier ones], enjoyed both, but IMHO they cost more then they're worth.
Have enjoyed most Greycliffs I tried [green [loved the candela wrapper], purple [the RTDA pre-release] = yummy, white = not really].
In general, like many luxury goods at some point it becomes more name than substance [tho this varies with each bro]... but they back up their name with excelllent quality.

I’m rather surprised by the people saying they don’t like Diamond crown. The DC Maximus is a beautiful cigar by all means worth the price per stick. As for dunhill, they have never really done much for me, I’ve had several sticks at the shop and they where simply a straight tobacco tasting cigar to me. Now I will admit a friends uncle gave me one he had, happened to be one of the exact ones I had at the shop except his had been sitting in his humi for 4 years now and it was fantastic to say the least. IMO if you have the patience let something premium like that sit and you’ll definitely be rewarded.
