Seriously? Well, I guess it doesn't surprise me that much. I've always wondered how something as bold as red wine could go well with a cigar. Still, many good IPAs have characteristics of pine and grapefruit; and most all of them have a bitter finish.
I don't get it, but you never know. There are people who drink coffee with their fish, I suppose.
I gotta agree with Mick on this one. While hoppy beers are my favorite styles, they do not pair well with a cigar due to the inherent bitterness. I much prefer something malty and sweet, YMMV.

SN fails more than they should. They have a few good beers but overall they bore me.
Last night I had a 2009 Nugget Nectar and holy shit what a great beer!
After that I had a bottle of the newly released Espresso Oak Aged Yeti. It was great.
