Water Pillows

Only an hour ago I was thinking that I needed to pick some of these up. Thanks for the link.

sorry if i posted this in the wrong manner, but this is the retailers room. I just assumed that it would be known that I am a retailer. I also see that any member can post about any deal he finds, so I will make it more clear next time.

Actually Ron is one of the better long time retailer's on the net. He comes highly recomended by quite a few of us on the boards... Which reminds me... I need a few things.. Hope your manning the phone's Ron.. One Ringydingy Two Ringydingy's.... Oh Ronny any one home?? :laugh:

quick question: does this come with the little ziplock bags that usually come with these water pillows? only asking because they aren't in any of the pictures and not clearly mentioned. thanks.
 
yes, they come with the small ziplocs. start off with keeping the ziploc closed. if you need to boost humidity a bit, you can open the ziploc. If you have a humidor that needs the humidity boosted quite a bit, you can take the pillow out of the ziploc. I also charged a pillow with 50/50, and its working quite well. I charged it with roughly 2 teaspoons of 50/50 mix. It is holding at 70% in a 5 cigar ziploc bag. I also tested pillows charged with 1 teaspoon water. Both Pillows are in the little ziplocs. 1 is being used in a clear lid cigar caddy so that i can see the readings. The other is in a 5 cigar size ziploc bag. Both are holding steady in the 69-70% range. I think that if you go light on the water, these are very safe for small airtight travel humidors. Open the humis up once a day, and it seems that these pillows will do a nice job for a 50 cent item.

Water pillows are IMO a must have when shipping cigars. I always keep a few in my coolidor to keep the RH up and so that they are ready to go. They also work great in my cigar-caddy...much easier then the foam in the lid. That and the fact that they are a steal at 40-50 cents a piece.
