That kid is going to be awesome. Maybe not this year but watch out. Curt Schilling saw him and triple A and said he will be one of the top pictures in the league as soon as he get's called up.

Grammar and punctuation Don... FFS. You run all over the board insulting everything that posts above you, and yet you can't seem to read one simple post.

Don, please try to be more careful with your apostrophe usage. In no way is get's ever acceptable. It is impossible for get to show ownership and you would never say "get is". I have noticed your usage of "your" and "you're" is often incorrect as well. If you are ever unsure, just expand the contraction and see if it makes sense. For example: "I went to you're house to smoke" becomes "I went to you are house to smoke". Or, "Your driving too fast!". My driving too fast? No, You ARE driving too fast. Lastly, "its" is the possessive form of it, and "it's" is the contraction of it is.

It is not just you Don, this problem permeates the board as well the entire internet. Why it is becoming more prevalent I cannot say, perhaps because nobody thinks to correct it. I will not sit idly by any longer and allow these grammatical atrocities to continue. That goes for all of you. Shape up and think about what you are typing, it will make you a better poster.

This will be the last time I ask anyone nicely. From now on you will face unending ridicule and correction.

The problem is Don, that while I'm reading on threads on the board and making friends and having good interactions with others, you're going around getting yourself into flame wars with various persons over petty shit. Just enjoy the damn board and what this thing is in place for: The Brotherhood of the Leaf. Stop getting so wrapped up in shit that you completely go off base like you have been for the past few weeks dude. Seriously, it's getting distracting. :angry:

Don, that is all fine and good, but I would expect that "your best" would involve learning a thing or two. Understanding how apostrophes work is not rocket science. It's even easier than the plume/mold debate. Correct apostrophe usage is taught to and understood by gradeschoolers, so I don't think it is beyond reasonable to expect people to make an attempt at correct grammar and punctuation. I mean, if you use Firefox, it has a spellcheck built in.

That's all I'm asking. Really, it sounds silly, but seeing simple mistakes like that really grinds my gears. Like, claw-my-eyes-out-spit-on-a-baby disgusted with the world.

Please, for the sake of the written word, try to be more careful. We are not teenagers on the newest mobile telephones here.

Strasburg, and Bryce Harper on the way? The Nats are going to be GOOD in a few years, or at the very least, have some incredibly talented and entertaining players to watch. As a KC Royals fan, color me jealous.

Not to rain on the Strass parade, but it was the Pirates. I saw some highlights, and yeah, some of his pitches were filthy, but it's the same level of competition he faced before he got called up.

bwahahahahaha DC is a real city and why would him being the new great rookie go to another team with a list of previous greats when he could stay in DC, and be the first great pitcher for the great new franchise! :blush: Just saying!
