visiting Tampa

I'm visiting Tampa this week, and looking for good cigar store and lounge. I have been to Ybor City, and all I found was their home rolled ones; and a subpar selection there.

I would recommend going to Tampa Humidor or Castle Cigars. They both have a large humidor, nice smoking areas and a friendly/knowledgeable staff.

I'm heading down at the end of the month also, Where are the good cigar friendly resturants? Any Cigar Factories down there?

Agreed - Tampa Sweethearts - Home of the Fuentes...Ybor City is where you want to go...10 min drive from Tampa. My daughter is in college down there at U of Tampa and she sends me "stuff" she finds.

Keep in mind that Tampa Sweethearts is just a warehouse. You can only enter the lobby and buy sticks through the window. They do not offer tours and there is nowhere to smoke.

Ybor is an okay trip for those who've never been. My brother and I visited a very nice lounge in Tampa after watching a Devil Ray's game last year. Can't remember the name, though, sorry.

I briefly worked at a smokeshop in Tampa, while living there, about 3 years ago called Edwards Pipe and Tobacco Shop. It is right near downtown on W. Kennedy. It is a real nice shop with a good selection and a small lounge area to smoke. I haven't been in there in a couple of years, but I am sure it is just as nice as it was. Def. worth checking out.
