Hey Viper, I have been researching the beads you offer and I think I will be purchasing some here in the near future. I was wondering though if you had any plans to offer the round style containers that fit into the lids of most desk humi's in place of the factory humidifiers? Or if you had any sources for the containers or compatible ones that are empty that could be filled with the beads?

I need to get something different going for the humidification of my humi, and everyone has such great things to say about your beads! If there were containers designed to fit in the round holes in humidors it would be so easy to swap right to your system and still keep all the space available for storage!

...sssshhhh...coming VERY soon (should be a couple of weeks)! :whistling:

Patent submitted...
Product ordered...
Just waiting on their arrival...

BTW - A couple of guys got a "sneak peek" at the Quad-State herf

I think the tubes work excellent, and if you get the smaller ones they are only as big as one cigar. They dont take up much space at all. Now if you have a 4-500 count humi I can see where the beads might be a little bigger(not sure though).
And when added on the side of a tray I have found that it sometimes allows you to stack cigars a row higher since the humidification system is not on the lid any more. This might actually save you space.
Hope this helps a little. And who knows, viper might be working on just such a thing as you are looking for.

Hey good point Brandon! And no haha I’m still very new and only dream of a 4-5k count humidor!! :D In fact I only have a small handful of cigars in mine anyway. But currently I am using the Thompson Jar’s for humidification and it does not seem to be doing an acceptable job! Plus the Jar does take up a rather large footprint of space in my humi. From reading this site, it seams that humidor space can get used up very fast so I want to make sure that the next humidification system I invest in takes up the smallest amount of space possible. Another thing I was curious about in regards to the tubes, is whether or not there is any direct impact to the sticks laying right next to the bead tubes in a tightly packed humidor. I know you shouldn’t let your smokes come in direct contact with moisture but I wasn’t sure about the tubes and how they hold moisture in etc. I currently do not have a credo lid style humidifier in the hole for it in my humi’s lid, this why I thought it might be the best option. I’m still trying to figure out what would work the best..

Mark you have a PM!

In my Humi I have Viper's rectangle aluminum bead box mounted where the original credo used to be, and it works so well I don't even stress my RH% anymore.
If there is room in the lid either over or under the original round credo you could mount it there :)
