I was lucky enough to get some of these from Mark at Tower Cigars.
This was a nice looking cigar. It had a chocolate brown wrapper with some veins but nothing major. It was silky to the touch and had no real noticeable oils. The cigar had what I could best describe as a slight floral aroma. The cigar had no soft or tight spots and had a good resistance to a squeeze.
Pre-light draw there was a taste of hay and tobacco. I could tell right away that there was not going to be a draw problems with this cigar. I torched the foot and took a slow draw and was meet with a sweet floral chocolate taste that was pleasing. The burn was good with a medium Grey ash that was slightly flaky.
The first third of this cigar I would describe as medium bodies that continued with a slight sweet chocolate taste. It did not have the powerful spice taste that I find with most of the premiums from Nicaragua. The burn remained good and there was a nice blue smoke being produced. The draw was spot on ample smoke but not loose.
The second third of the stick I could still detect a semi sweet taste but I also started to encounter some earthy tones. The burn remained very consistent and I would ash about every half inch.
The last third of the stick remained earthy and some spice started to kick in but not over powering. It lasted close to a hour and was a very enjoyable stick that will not kill you with the nicotine.
This stick was a nice change from the head rippers I normally smoke. It was medium bodied and smooth. I will put the other 4 away for a long nap and visit them in a year or so. I would like to thank Mark at Tower Cigars for making these available in 5 packs. Very nice change of pace stick.
