Viaje Oro
Fuerza - 5 X 52
Prelight:
Construction looks solid. Nice pack on the foot. Cap looks well constructed. Dark wrapper with oils present.
Fire to foot:
At first draw I taste what can only be described as Nicaragua. Earthy tones dominate. Those that enjoy Nicaraguan tobacco know this flavor. Spice is also present with some sweetness.
As I continued smoking the flavor got stronger with a mellowing of the spice. The cigar had no prominent veins which contributed to the even burn. Good draw producing abundant smoke.
About halfway through the cigar it began to peak. Full flavored smoke with every pull. A flavor of dark coffee present, but not strong.
As the cigar winded down the smoke got stronger with a creamy flavor. I'd put the strength of the cigar at medium plus.
91/100
Side note:
The cigar band is worth mentioning. One of the nicest I have ever seen.
Anyone else try one of these?
