I had heard such good reports on the Viaje that I had to see for myself.
Well, I wish I could tell you about the flavours in poetic prose full of racing metaphors... but the draw was so plugged, and the burn canoed so badly that I could not really concentrate on the taste.
It smoked as if the leaves at the foot had actually been made of sponges, and had been dipped in thick jelly for fun. Then the spiteful bastard poured glue in between the gaps that managed to let some smoke through. What was freaky is that a draw poker could not fix the problem. 65%RH etc, storage is perfect (none of my other cigars had any burn/draw issues). What a disappointment for such a talked about cigar.
Time for a Padron.
