[background=rgb(250, 250, 250)]Hey everyone,[/background]

[background=rgb(250, 250, 250)]So I want to constantly have something new to smoke, don't get me wrong I have my favorites that I repeat, but for the most part I want to keep trying new ones. But I sometimes don't have time to do the research to keep up. Is there a site or a service that could help me out? Is anyone out there having the same problem?[/background]

You might want to go introduce yourself in the proper fashion.

Them you might want to participate in the Newbie trade.

Then it would be a great time to come back and ask for information that it had taken some years to accumulate.

Just my opinion and trying to help you out.

There is a saying here, like what you smoke, smoke what you like. There is no one here, NO ONE, that can taste for you. And you know what opinions are like, we all have one.

Get a notebook, paste the band on a page, make a comment, refer to it as your experiences continue.

Opinion: cost does not mean better, but that choice again is up to you. It is your money. I know I have bought on a brand name, or a high cost (must be better, right) and found out I shit in my mess kit ( if you don't know, that ain't good).

I could go on, but I will take pity on your soul. If you smoke two a day, you could smoke a new cigar for probably two years without ever repeating yourself. Have fun in this process, then come back and we can start all over with beer and spirits. Share your two cents and we will give you change. Have fun and we will cheer you on.

Go get em tiger!

I imagine if you call up Israel at Uptown Cigars, he can put together a sampler of new stuff for you every month or however often you want to do it.

Read every cigar mag you can get ahold of and note every label you haven't tried. Then call Isy.

Works for me. ;)

I've only been sucking stogies for just over a year, so I am pretty much in the same boat as yourself, always trying new things. Here's my two-step approach:

1) Get yourself a geek. About eight miles from here is a cigar store which claims to have the broadest selection in North America. Others may have more cigars by the pallet; but these guys claim more variety than anyone. They also have capable cigar geeks. First time I visited, I told the geek on hand what beer and wine I like to drink, what foods I like, and what my pocket is. He steered me right. I drop in from time to time, report on what I've tried, and ask for guidance. His "you'd probably like this" is rarely wrong.

2) I downloaded a free app for my smart phone called RateMyCigar. Each new cigar, I write notes, take a pic, and rate it there. This gives me a handy reference for what I like. Way better than trying to go by memory, and always with you. And the act of reviewing the smoke while you are smoking it makes you more attentive to figuring out what that stick is all about.

Put your city in your profile and maybe someone can steer you to a store with capable staff.

I second, or third, this. Call Isy and tell him what you've liked and not liked, he will then steer you in the right direction based on your budget.
