Trinidad Coloniales

I got a fiver of these through a CP group buy. This is my last one from the 5, having somed 3 and given away 2. The first third was somewhat muted flavor, but still nice and light and floral/hay flavor. Second third brought a rush of flavers that sort of melded together with nome being prominent. Te last third was very young and tanninc with a load of bean flavors. All in all, not bad for being a year and a half old. I almost nubbed it. If this were sitting in a box vice my humidor, I believe they would be way to young to smoke. But since they were in the humi with a lot of breathing room, it probably smoked better. The only thing I didnt like about it was the wrapper. It had green mottled spots.

Had a 2004 Coloniales last week. I still think the 2003 tobacco crop is the best overall since 97-98, but the 2004 is giving it a run for it's money.

Incredible draw and tons of smoke from this Coloniales. Tasted young, but definately had that Trinidad flavor I love. I'm gonna have to get myself a box of these!

I had the opportunity to have a Trinidad Coloniales 2006 earlier this week. Breakfast on the balcony watching the sunrise with this stick and a cup of Mexican coffee (sorry Mr. Jerry).

This is one excellent pc!
