I just finished one from Dec 03. I have mixed feelings about this cigar. The construction is great. The wrapper is pretty delicate though, so be careful. The flavor that dominated the first half was a grassy flavor with a light clean tobacco taste in the back ground. I exhale through my nose quite a bit. This left a kinda harsh peppery feeling on my pallate and the back of my throat. 1st half was so-so.
The second half was a bit better. The flavor opened up quite a bit. It got a slight toffee nut flavor going. The grassy flavor died down quite a bit. And the clean tobacco was overwhelmed byt the new flavors. I ended up nubbing it.
The flavor and consrtuction is promising. I think this cigar will age beautifully. It has enough oomph to satisfy. I am sure the harshness will pass soon. The only poor spot of the cigar was the burn. It burned razor straight for the 1st third. The rest of the time I had to correct the burn frequently. It was never bad, but had to be fixed none the less.
This is the oldest one I have smoked. It has been in my humi for at least 4 months. I probably wont smoke another for 2 years. Don't get me wrong, I nubbed this cigar. But there is so much in store for it, no sense in rushing it. If you buy a box, smoke one or 2 now and see what you are in store for. Then bury it deep for the promise of a better future.

have had the chance to smoke 2 of these great cigars. The first one was fantastic, the 2nd tasted a little young, but still good.

look foreward to trying these in the future.
