All i can say is WOW! I am now a big fan of the Hemingway Best Seller. The pre-light draw was just perfect and the cigar burned evenly all the way down to the nub. I even got it to stand on it's ash! My pallate isnt as advanced as everyone else's here, but there was plenty of smoke volume, and it was a full-side of medium body. The thing that impressed me the most was how smooth this cigar was. The smoke was never harsh or overpowering, and had no aftertaste whatsoever. This cigar will be my go-to from now on.

I remember smoking this cigar a while back...I wasn't impressed with it.
I was comparing it to my favorite Short Story.
I thought it should be the same in flavor profile...but it wasn't.

So last night I decided to smoke another, after a few months of aging.

I take back all the bad things I once said about this cigar.
I agree that it's a nice smoke.
I guess a little age does wonders.

My bad experience was probably due to shipping (not enough humidity)...or to my mood that day.

Awesome review, I have been meaning to try one from the Hemingway series, after reading this I think I will pick one up.. :)

I love most of the Fuente stuff I've tried, but this was one of the most boring cigars I've ever tried. It wasn't bad - well made, usual great burn, etc. - just no real flavor or depth to it. The Short Story I tried, on the other hand, had just enough flavor and was just long enough to leave me wanting more - go figure.

No problems though - more for you ;)
