Made in the Toscani region of italy these cigars are thin hand rolled dry cured smokes that look like the cigars Clint Eastwood smokes in his earlier "spaghetti westerns", During curing the cigars are dunked in Anise-seed oil (think Sambuca) giving them a black licorice flavor.
A friend was down in Italy for training and brought back some.
If you like black licorice you will love these cigars, because even the smoke tastes like a licorice stick, if you don't like licorice... well lol I would advise you to stay far far away from them.
Little bit of Trivia: CAO Italia are rolled from tabacco from Benevento and along with Toscani is two of the oldest tabacco growing regions in Europe.
