I can only remember smoking one of these about 6months or so ago, I keep hearing good things about them and was wondering if anyone had a few suggestions on which one I should try. I am not a big Maduro fan and tend to lean towards sungrown and Naturals if that helps at all..

The new Torano Virtuoso line is going to be the first Sun Grown Toranos made; Matty I think you will enjoy those the most.

My SS sent me a signature and I liked it alot.

*edit* here is the info on them

Sun-Grown Brazilian Maduro wrappers, Piloto Cubano binder and filler

The Signature are Maduros and are a very rich cigar. I love them.

The 1916 are Cameroon if I recall correctly. I remember them to be fairly light and a slightly spicey.

The Reserva line are natural wrapped and seem to be the lightest body of them all. Great morning stick.

The Exodus Gold are H2000 wrapper and to me have a spiceyness similaar to a SG cigar.

The Exodus Silver seem to have the same blend but with a Criollo wrapper. Decent, but I prefer the gold.

The Virtuoso are the richest of all the cigars. In my opinion, the maduro fermentation sweetens this cigar more so than any other SG wrapped cigar I have had. These cigars rock!!!

I can't remember the name of the flagship of the Torano line, but they are "Vintage cigars" meaning they change slightly from year to year dependiing on the crops. I have only smoked a couple and they did nothing for me. This is strange because I am a Torano whore!

If you want to get a litte fancier I think the Tributes are pretty damn good too.

Exodus 1959
regular ones, NOT "Silver" or sometimes refered to as "Gold"

These have a dark natural wrapper that is fantastic!! I smoke very few medium priced domestics but this is one of them.

I do not like the Exodus 1959 Silvers at all, nor do I like the 1916 Cameroon ones either. The Tributes are okay but they're awfully expensive and not worth it in my opinion.

I am watching this thread with some interest as I have not cared for any of the Torano's I have had. Great construction and burn but I would like to know what the consensus is about which are really the best. Lots of people really like them, but so far I have yeat to find one that I think is really good. :)

Golds and sigs in torp size are a good place to start with these. I agree that the silvers just are not an exciting flavor.

Emo nailed it, IMHO

I always have the Exodus 1959 gold Double corona on hand, if you like milder the Reserva Selecta. The Virtuoso is an awesome smoke. Signatures are very good as well. I like everything about Toranos. A cigar for any mood.

The man knows what he's talking about!

The exodus 59 {gold} is the only one I like, I like a cameroon every now and then, but I hated the 1916.
$4 here locally.

The 1959 "gold" are one of my favorites, but if you're looking for natural wrapper - the Tributes are great. I know the Tribute comes in a maduro, but I have yet to try them. Anyone have 5 or 10 Tribute Maduro to trade/sell?
