The Marshall Mafia will again host the 3rd Annual Jared M. Stubblefield Memorial Scholarship Herf on August 2, 2008 in Marshall Missouri. Activities include a silent auction (that includes a George Brett autographed baseball, a Jacksonville Jaguars autographed helmet and lots of cigars and cigar related items) raffle tickets, poker game, washers tournament and some great fellowship. The kegs will be tapped by 3pm, the poker game will start @ 3pm and the food will arrive around 5pm.
It has been five years since we lost Jared, my friend and smoking partner. This is our way of honoring him. Jared had just completed his freshman year @ Kansas State-Salina majoring in professional pilot when he was killed in an auto accident. Previous years herf's have raised over $6,000 towards scholarships in Jared's memory to KSU-Salina, Saline County Civil Air Patrol and future pilots from Marhsall High School.
Come and join us Saturday August 2, 2008 in Marshall MO. The cost is only $35/person or $50/couple and includes all the food, beverages, a few cigars.
