I've been waiting a long time to post this topic, about 8 years I guess.

I just got off the phone with Bob Staebell, and my order has been taken.  In an estimated 6 weeks I will be moving my beloved cigars into an Aristocrat M Plus!

You may have tracked my recent journey to finish a half marathon with my wife [topic='75316']here[/topic].  Well I finished the race and have been figuring out which humidor I wanted since.

After much deliberation, I have gone with the following specs:

Aristocrat M Plus - Standard (39" w x 19" d x 48" h)

- Black lacquer finish
- Crown molding top
- Curved DX base molding
- Split panel doors (bottom 1/3 wood, top 2/3 glass)
- Digital Set and Forget system (No THC)
- 2 full extension drawers for singles
- 3 full extension shelves for boxes

I'm excited and the pee dance has now commenced!

Pics to follow in this thread at a later date!

Congratulations, Wyatt...!!!  Fair warning, Bob's production schedules are often a bit 'optimistic' but it's worth it...!!!

Can't wait to see the pics...!!!

Congratulations Wyatt, road trip in two months time!

Very nice! Yea, Bob always seems to say 6 weeks, and I've never seen one done in that time. Mine took 2-1/2 months, and then the door was totally covered in touch up pen. He didnt even flinch and told me he would replace the door. That took about 6 months, and he sent the wrong size door. Then another few months to get the right door. You'd think he'd change that line to something more in line with his metrics. He's a good guy, and I believe honest as can be, just sucks at guestimating time. ;)  But, all said and done, I enjoy it, well made, and especially convenient.

Yeah, I've heard the stories on the timeline enough to know I'll need to have patience.

Oh, I will also mention that Bob gave me a military discount as well. I didn't even ask, but having communicated through my work email, he knew I was active duty and simply added it in....that's pretty damn stand up of him!

Congratulations!

It took 8 weeks for mine but it is well worth the wait. Bob is a pleasure to work with.

Very nice. Congrats on reaching your goal and now getting your prize!

Wyatt
My unit from Bob arrived about 3 weeks ago.
I went the M-plus as well, black lacquer, crown molding, DX accessory drawer, and all glass front panels. The black lacquer looks simply amazing and no pictures on Bob's website do it justice.
From my order date to delivery was almost exactly 8 weeks. My unit however was the temperature controlled THC unit as I live in South Florida and have difficulty keeping at 70 degrees in summer. The THC unit I'm sure added to the assembly time on the unit.
I also opted for LED lighting which Bob of course placed out of view when unlit and looks incredible at night when lit. The LED lights were an after-thought but I am extremely pleased I went for them as Bob did an amazing job of integrating them into the unit. They are just the right color temperature so the interior is well lit and elegant without looking like inexpensive "LED strip" lighting available from any Home Depot.
Regardless, congratulations on the unit. I hope you and I get years of enjoyment out of our investments.

Oh yeah, its now completely full. At some point I will need to have a "fire sale" on CP to make room for new acquisitions.

Congrats on the new purchase Wyatt... from the looks of bucfan's you've made a great choice.
Now sadly, I think I may have to look into one of these.

That's great and I'm sure will be a slick unit.

He is well known for quality. I'm sure it will be worth whatever the wait.
