We Bengals fans don't have Super Bowl trophies to show...we don't have many winning seasons to show (see my other posts about hating Owner/GM Mike Brown)...we don't have ANY prime time games this year to watch on national television...we have a long standing fight with the other NFL Ohio team for which one sucks the worst (thanks for giving us something, Cleveland fans).... But this year I would like to say THANK YOU to all of you Steeler fans out there. We Bengals fans appreciate that your team has given our team two marks in the 'W' column.

Oh sure, the Bengals have, in fact, swept the season series EIGHT TIMES but after having herfed to a non-stop loop of Pittsburgh Steeler Super Bowl 43 video, these two wins are so so so sweet. So, Cigarstone, Keystoneraider, MaxNoodle, GTADropTop, Cookie1978, I offer my sincere gratitude. Thanks for being fans of a team that took it on the chin from the Bengals in the 2009 season. That goes for you, too, Sweetrice80, you Ohio native that cheers a Pennsylvania team. Thanks!

(Hey, we Bengal fans don't get many chances to rub noses in it so we have to take what we can get!) ;)

OMFG that was too funny Stu!

I've been waiting for you to start this thread since the game was over. I'm sure Jeff was too.

This Ravens fan will acknowledge the fact that the Bengals are good. They beat us twice as well and are a better team. Since the rest of their schedule is against what amounts to a Division III schedule, I suspect they will easily take the division. I guess a decade of top ten picks has to help at some point. :)

But you know what is funnier? What is funnier is the fact that Steeler fans aren't showing up today! (Just like their team.) I mean the lowly Bengals took the Steelers down in THEIR HOUSE with all of the Tool-ible Towels waving around. Oh man, if I could stop laughing then the silence would be deafening....

They played a good game and got a deserved win. Hats off to you. Enjoy it as the playoffs are right around the corner.

I'm here.

The Bengals won. Congrats to you. I can understand your joy. After you've won for a while, the novelty rubs off and it becomes routine. Enjoy.

Bengals kicked our butts yesterday. I could give you reasons as to why we lost, but the bottom line is you are in first place and playing well. Maybe we will see you in the playoffs.

Enjoy the time on top.

That was a great game to watch, even for a Cowboys fan (who suck and I don't know why I like them). I must have replayed that kickoff TD a dozen times and each time I just howled with laughter. I'm quite certain my 9yr old daughter would've put up a better fight than Jeff Reed. At least try and two hand touch him and hope the ref blows the whistle by mistake, but what he did was absolutely pathetic. I made my son watch and told him this is how NOT to be a good teammate. If I was that guy, I would've gone directly to the locker room because I would've been too embarrassed to face my teammates again. Ever.

Okay Stu, here is your congrats, I have been swimming and haven't been on here much and was so disgusted after the game I didn't want to communicate with anyone! Because you have been such a class guy about it and put up with what you thought was the endless loop of Super Bowl 43 at the HERF I will wish you well in your endeavors to hate Mike Brown and enjoy the season. It wasn't an endless loop of Super Bowl 43, it was just the six super bowl wins all played back to back! I realize that those six games would seem like an endless loop to just about any fan :whistling:

What?! That was the worst game I have watched in years! Our drunken kicker has probably been told he is gone at the end of the year so he is making sure not to get hurt.....I hope he gets drunk and breaks his foot right after the Steelers win #7.

Okay, given the unbelievable and violent nature of you Pittsburgh fans, I would like to withdraw any inference that I may have made that insulted the pride of the above participating Steeler fans. Clearly your passion is to be respected even if the lowly Bengals (who showed their real stripes this weekend) did sweep the season.

Don't treat me like that Steeler fan treated poor Flip. ???

Stu, don't worry. My Chiefs (yes, my lowly Chiefs) kept your Bengals out of harms way yesterday but hanging what must have been a very embarrassing loss on the Defending Super Bowl Champs. Oh, and sorry Sixburgers about knocking out your top to QBs.

While, you might have swept the Steelers this year,. I fear ,my good friend, you may be over looking the lowly Clowns. After last week's "offensive" explosion against the storied Detroit Lions, I believe Cincinnati will have a hard time judging what team to prepare for. Will it be the crap team that plays mediocre defense for a quarter and half, but does not score. Or will it be the team that almost eclipse their number of touchdowns scored for the season in the first quarter. Keep this in mind as well, The Cleveland Browns are running out of ways to tragically and pathetically lose close games.

Give 'em hell, Breedy! Four touchdowns for Quinn? Damn! Kid better take his house off the market, because Cleveland better keep him if they're smart. No, wait... ???

In rebuttal - Steeler fans aren't any more violent than any other fans. We only look like an unruly mob because there's always more of us than there are of you.

Sixburgers? Okay.

At ease Bengal fans. The time is fast approaching when you will have to play a game in the Metrodome and face Favre and AD!!

Sad day in Steeler nation.
Never saw this collapse coming.

Oh well, I guess I will have to watch the 6 SB DVD's during the playoffs this year.
