The Mason-Dixon HERF

Hello all,

Well I've been anticipating the opportunity of participating in a HERF somewhere in my local area, however, nothing lately. So with the encouragement of some the more senior Pennsylvania members of this forum - I am proposing a HERF on Friday the 18th of November in Gettysburg, PA.

Not completely settled on a location. One possibility is the Herr Tavern & Publick House, more specifically in the building called the Livery, which is the area where they allow cigar smoking.

I have some other possible locations, a couple near our only so-called cigar store. Everything is up for discussion, I'd just like to get this out there and see how many folks are interested.

So now, I know there is more than a couple Pennsylvanians in the forum, and a few Marylanders... So lets all get together and smoke a couple!

Suggestions and recommendations are welcome!

Looking quite promising that I will be able to come. Any more details you have would be great.

AVB...maybe you will get the box for the pass we are in before the 18th. If so, and if we both make it to the herf, maybe you could give me a hand with my puts and takes since I've never been in a pass before. Anyways, trying to work it out with my schedule so that I can get out of work a bit early that friday. We shall see....

Finally confirmed! I can come!!! Brewmeister...have you gotten any PM's or anything? So far looks like at most it'd be 4 of us, Brew, me, AVB, and natejustice. Anyone else?

Sounds like a great group of guys getting together...

I'd give an arm and a leg to be there, Gettysburg is one of my favorite places. Used to go camping there alot, and my family and I visited the Battlefield at least once a year in the fall.

Sorry Gentlemen but I am not going to be able to make this one as I have a family function to attend this weekend, and we are leaving friday after I get off work. ..so smoke a good one for me, and hopefully we can have another Herf sometime soon...
