Yesterday I smoked a Cuban Cohiba Siglo III. I brought this one back with me from my trip to Toronto. Its been sitting in my humidor for a little over a month, I've been wanting to smoke it but if I smoked it I wouldn't have any Cubans! Well cigars were meant to be smoked and the time was right. It was the first day of my six day vacation from work and I wanted to start it off right. Man, there is nothing like a good Cuban, they have the best wrappers, great oils, perfect color, no nc's that I've seen look anything like them. This cigar was heaven! It's burn was less than ideal but I didn't even care. I hope the other countries learn to duplicate the Cuban flavor soon. :)

Today I went to the local cigar shop to buy some somewhat cheap smokes. While I was paying I told the guy I always wanted to smoke an Anejo but they are hard to find. He kind of gave me a smirk and said he had a couple of boxes in the back. Well, there went my budget. So I bought a #46, it cost $10. I don't know what the MSRP is but it was worth the money. As soon as I got home I lit it up. It was a very nice looking cigar, very firm. I loved the taste right away. At first I thought it was a bit mono-dimensional, but man, what a great dimension! After an inch or so the spice started really kicking in. Its a very spicy cigar and has great flavors, best $10 cigar ever! I was down right giddy with this one. For all of you fellow noobs out there who haven't tried one yet, put it on the top of your list.

I've got to stop spending so much money on cigars! :(

I just smoked an Anejo 46 last night. Great cigar. $10.00 is a little over MSRP but pretty good considering what some sites/stores charge for them. Great smoke that is hard to come by so in my book worth every penny of $10.00. You should see if he has any other sizes to try out.

WHich shop was this.. I need anejo's!! :D

I am feigning for some.. and my stash is dwindling..

Will trade some Dark side cigars.. :D

Also you must attend some herfs.. plenty of habanos to go around..

would not want your others to go lonely..LOL!

This guy only sells cigars like Opus, Anejo, and Padron 26's to his good customers. He was telling me today that sometimes people will call him and ask him if he has any Opus X and he will say "I'm all out", but he'll have a few boxes in the back. He doesn't want people coming there just for his best sellers. He's a bit of a "soup nazi" type of guy. He will have a box of cigars like that for a couple of years and won't tell anyone he's got em. I seem to have somehow gotten on his good side, even though he still rips me off sometimes (Padron 26 #2 maduro for $22). I'll keep you in mind for a trade but I've already spent too much on cigars and don't think I will be buying more for a little while.

As far as the herfs go, it seems interesting but I work so much I probably won't be off for many. Let me know when you guys are having one and I'll check my schedule.

DAMN!!
I just realized I work a cple blockes from where you live..

And looking around in that area. I dont know of any good tobacco shops..

Please dont say its up/down tobacco? or cigar king..LOL!
or is it mohammed's shop on north ave? he is a great guy..

I can find anejo's just not at MSRP..

A shop in the burbs carries them and he lets me pick up a cple at a time for msrp..but thats not enough..LOL!!

Fyodor, just get money from Alex and help the brotha out. If you can help someone out, why not?

Good thing that you, Fyodor, did not get hooked on the Anejo #77. Those darkies run anywhere from $15 - $30 a piece. Now that more like 3-5 of my lunch money for a week. It hurts to get hooked on an expensive habit, ain't it ? :p
