Hey all, I've been trying to find a maintenance free way of keeping my cigars ideal while over in Iraq. Due to living out of a 10X10 room I don't really have the space to house a nice humidor, nor the time to keep a good eye on it.

I bought a few of the Arturo Fuente Humidor Bags on a recommendation from a friend.

Just outta curiousity, anyone have any good or bad experiences with them? Do you think they'll serve the purpose for the next 7 months of my tour?

Thanks for the help.

Yea...they'll server the purpose humidity wise.
Just remember to keep them in a cool dry place if possible.

(I had to keep some sticks in one of those bags for over 3 months...worked better than my humi!)

I used 2 of these as well. Not sure the temp where you are, but try and keep them in the coolest part of your 10x10 room.

They work fairly well. Just don't over stuff it as they tend to rip along the zip lock if too full.

Stay safe bro!

Be careful over there! My buddy is about to go for 12 months, but his rank gives him alittle better accomodations. He is flying his 150 count humidor out.

I love the humi-bags, I go through quite a few of them. You can tell when they are getting low on humidity, because the little humidifier pack inside will get stiff. When that happens, its time to get a new one.

Great info, thanks for the replies.

I threw my digital hygro in my 15 bag of Gurkhas last night and woke up to a perfect 70%.

I'm thrilled. Looks like these will be my humi's for the duration.
