The Great Dog Toss

Day 3

Ut oh. 3 packages on my doorstep this morning. I'm pretty sure some of them are from trades/passes, so I may be safe... but ut oh... what is this. A box from "emmo/Mike" -- with a cheesey looking bag of "el Credito" cigars in it, and a note that says "good riddance"

Oh god... I'm afraid to even open and smell them. I have a poker game tonight, I'll whip one of these out and try it there... argh!!!!

Well anyway. Just searched through the fridgador and found a coupla :0 sticks that sorta woofed, growled, whined, barked, whimpered at me when I managed to get a little too close to them.

They don't call me 'Scooby Doobie Doo Doo' for nothing. ;)

Oops. Just packed up the box. There are a couple in there I have smoked and not hated, but wouldn't willingly smoke now. The others are straight nasty. DO what you will.

Hey, I didn't say WHEN I'd smoke them. Basically, the response was overwhelming, and because of the winter here, I rarely get a chance to smoke cigars. When I do, forgive me, but I can't bring myself to smoke some of these dog rockets.

I'll be revisiting them now that the weather is warming up.

I think I have sitting in a box somewhere my ancient 'glass jar' type humidor with some dog rockets my canadian uncle and aunt picked up for me out of the kindness of their heart while they were on vacation some years ago in Havana.

A no-name bundle off the streets of Havana with some wierd green leafy band if I remember correct. Want me to go digging Moki? :D

I may have to send these 3 free "women's cigars" I (er my wife) got in the mail from Costa Rica yesterday. The suckers look like they well constructed with decent tobacco, but the damned little wood box they ship them in isn't cedar and it REEKS. The box has ruined what might otherwise might have been an enjoyable short smoke.

How about some of those rocket reviews you promised. You aren't just using these things to bomb us poor newbs are you?
