The Dailey Jam Session 2023 (Post the sound vibrations that pair with your smoking pleasure)

A few more 90's hits for your Monday:

So, I've never heard the actual album, but apparently Sugar Ray's first (maybe only? I dunno) album is much different than "Fly", which the label wanted released as a single. I mean, "Fly" became hugely popular and shot the band to stardom, but from what I read, the album was actually much edgier and rock-oriented.

Yep, it was labeled as Explicit (12/13 songs were). It's funny because the first single off that album shows what you said, but man, they sure changed direction once Fly became popluar. It was the Fly version with Super Cat on it, that shot them up as popular.

This one is from their first album - Lemonade and Brownies. Hell the cover art alone is worth a look :D

Just doesn't seem like the same band.

I just scrolled through a YT (or maybe FB) short last night of 'ol Tom playing this by himself on an acoustic guitar with just his dog by his side.

One of my all time favorite groups. So much great music was made in such little time for it all come to an end.

I sat with BT and talked for about 30 minutes at LAX waiting on a flight about 15 years ago. Really cool guys!
Was that before or after John Popper lost all that weight? I recall reading an interview with him where he talked about what prompted his weight loss journey. He said that it all started when he sat down on a toilet on tour somewhere in Europe, and it broke off the wall. He was completely unrecognizable at first until I got used to seeing the "new" JP.

Yes, this was after his surgery and weight loss.
