I think I am going to have some Sierra Nevada Celebration ale with the turkey and a Lost Abbey Serpent Stout with desert and a yet to be determined smoke.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Deschutes Obsidian Stout? Nice choices!

I am going to drink an assortment of winter warmers in the morning while I smoke cigars and fry the bird, blind pig while I eat the bird and to finish the evening, a Firestone Walker 12 to put me to sleep.

I plan on having several beers on Thanksgiving. :p I'm probably going to start off with some Great Divide Fresh Hop Ale well before dinner(uhemm...morning), then move to FFF Brian Broodoo for dinner, and then cap it off with a couple bombers of FFF Behemoth Barleywine throughout the night.

I plan on having a few smokes as well, not sure yet though. Maybe a Pepin Serie JJ Salomone in the morning, and then an Anejo 49 after dinner.

I'm pretty sure I will be ingesting large quantities of Coors Light throughout the day... :D ;)

Me and my pops will be pooring glasses of 2008 Surly Darkness.

Awwww yeah, nice!

Looking forward to cracking a bottle of that at some point thanks to you MN brothers, let us know how it is!

Absolutely fantastic beer! I need to try it in bottles, since I've only been lucky enough to have it on tap (at just the right temperature too...I swear it was on nitrogen!)

Going to pop a RR Temptation at some point during my meal.

edit for wrong beer. They sound too much alike

I think I might go with a couple of these Westvleteren 12s and 8s that I just picked up. After that, maybe a Stone Sawyer's Triple and IPA. I really wish I could find some Ten Fiddy around here...would make for a good evening.

I'll be using the day while the bird's in to finish off the last of my harvest and pumpkin ales, but I'll definitely be pouring ST Pumking with my wife's famous pumpkin soup (or maybe I should hold it for dessert?), and something nice and malty with dinner. I'm thinking Pennichuck "The Big O".

Well I've been thinking about what to start with and end with?

So here's what I looking at having. First Alpine Ichabod, then during Dinner pop open a bottle of Gouden Carolus Carolus D'Or - Grand Cru Of The Emperor, then with desset a dogfish head punkin ale and maybe cap the night with a stone 12th.

I'm drinking wine, ya fuggin' beer drinkin' heathens. Beer and turkey... talk about gas!

Doc.

What, like beer and hot wings or pizza or nachos or hot dogs or anything else I could name is any better?

I think we're drinking Pinot Noir with the turkey, but I always drink a Sierra Nevada Celebration sometime during the day on Thanksgiving.

I meant the Lost Abbey Serpent Stout. I am not sure how I messed that one up.

I have to work til 2pm but when I get home and am frying up the turkey and finishing up everything else, I'm hoping to have some Westy 8 (c'mon USPS!!!!). Gonna have Weihenstephaner kristalweissbeir with dinner and then I think I'm gonna have a Dark Horizon for my night cap. Many cigars will be smoked throughout the day too.

Well, I just scored some Port Brewing Santa's Little Helper Imperial Stout. Looks like I have to find some room for this one as well.

Just bought a bottle of that tonight as a matter of fact, looking forward to it. Also snagged a bottle of Killer Penguin from Boulder Beer. Not my favorite brewery but I really enjoyed this beer last year.
