We could easily implement a team of moderators to manage the board, but then we'd be just like every other cigar forum out there, and it wouldn't be that safe of a place. I don't believe a set group of people should control an entire community. We do quite well managing ourselves. This is an adult forum, and as such, we're the only cigar forum who treats our members like adults. The new guys need to learn and understand what we're about. That hill isn't as steep as it may appear. Obey the rules, be honest and you'll do just fine.

I have probably made about 15 or 20 clocks since the beginning and have given them all a way as gifts! I forgot I kept one for myself (Partagas 160)! Pretty nice!

C'mon - there's money to be made there tasman. Remember, though - It's not a profit, it's compensation for your time and effort. Big difference!!! Damn - if you're sending out 15 to 20 clocks - you could have been compensated pretty doggone close to $700 for your time! Your time is valuable, after all. I think maybe you need a manager to handle your affairs.

This giving things away crap has GOT to stop! It just gets everyone to be all mushy and stuff. Pretty soon you'll have a bunch of guys lookin' out for each other and crap - wanting to get together and herf - giving away more cigars than they receive. That's JUST NOT RIGHT!!! :angry:
