I have in recent years believed that temperature stability is as much important for cigars as relative humidity stability.
There is a calculator at
Which shows many facets of humidity. The difference between 68 degrees temp and 72 degrees temp shows a moisture content difference with the other values the same. I put 70% humidity in the calculator both times. There are other values available when you scroll down, but this stood out to me.
at 68 degrees we're looking at
SPECIFIC HUMIDITY (MOIST)Q70.72gr/lb
at 72 degrees we're looking at
SPECIFIC HUMIDITY (MOIST)Q81.14gr/lb
My point is that RH changes moisture content due to temperature.
If you state that you keep your cigars at a certain RH, you are not giving full information unless you state the temperature at the same time.
