Well my twenty-fourth birthday went off without a hitch. Had a great time with my family and let my waistline expand with some nice ice cream cake from Dairy Queen. I decided to celebrate and got out a Tatuaje reserve SW that had been resting in my humidor for a while. A great smoke that lasted almost two full hours. The taste was very elegant and balanced. I’d say it was a medium bodied cigar with a light hickory finish that wasn’t too short or too long, but just right. With the length of the cigar I expected a major amount of spice, but was pleasantly surprised with the lack of spice in favor of flavor. A leathery cigar that was earthy and woody and never dull. A great way to celebrate a birthday and I highly recommend to all.
I also have to say that I highly agree with what Devil Doc has said on storage rh for Pepin cigars. I’ve had great burns with humidity between 60%-62%, in fact I store the majority of my sticks at this rh and have yet to have problems.
