Tatuaje Noella Reserva
Length: 5 1/8” Ring gauge: 42 Size: Corona
This cigar was one of my top five cigars to try, and when I came across them as singles I was absolutely stoked. When I bought a box of them a few weeks later I was even more stoked, and now I can’t wait to see how these things age. This cigar had a beautiful rough dark oily wrapper that was just screaming full bodied smoke. It had a nice dark grey stacked ash that wasn’t very sturdy and fell off just about every centimeter. The draw was flawless and the smoke was nice and thick throughout. It burned a little uneven and reminded me of a venous flow wave chart in one of my textbooks. I found this cigar to be very full bodied with a deep earthy core the first half that mellowed out a little in the second half and took on a nice spicy character as well. The earth tones were classic, almost as if I had been smoking a decently aged Cohiba. The cigar finished nice and smooth and I smoked it until it began to burn my fingers. I really can’t wait to try this cigar again in a year to see how it progresses.
Appearance- 15 Ash- 8 Draw- 10 Burn- 8 Flav/Blend- 17 Uniqueness- 7 Smoke- 10 Finish- 15
Total-90/100
