I think its actually the inside of the paper or foil(which really wasn't a metallic foil but more a foil-paper, which is the same, its kind of like parchment paper which will let the cigars further go through their fermentation process. By "wet packing", to my knowledge, they roll the cigars, take like colors and age them for a week or two then pack them in the paper to let them finish their fermentation process. G1
 
OK, for those of us who've opened these up..would my Tats be better in my ISOM humi kept at 60% RH...or better in my 70% regular humi??

I think it's more personal preference again with this issue. Why don't you keep atleat 1 in each and let us know how they smoke at each %. It would be a good review and fun to do. Just MHO.
 
I agree with you. The minute you light this bad boy up you are kicked in the head with power. As you go through it it mellows and becomes quite good. I have only had 2 blacks and I must say these are quite similar to me. Fantastic smoke. Now if I can only keep my grubby mitts off them long enough to age more I'm sure they will prove to be incredible!
