I was selected by AL to be the recipient of a box of Tatuaje. I don't know which vitola, the box is on it's way to me.

The box is going to meet and greet my wife and I and then continue it's journey to a mini Herf.

Here's a simple competition for this box of fine smokes....

I would like someone to arrange a mini herf, minimum 4 people. The box will be sent to the organizer who will split the box with the participants, and of course, enjoy one or two smokes at the mini herf.

Simple rules...

The best presented mini herf will get the box (tell me why your mini herf should get the box) ...if only one mini herf is presented, then they will win.

Please prove that the mini herf is taking place by asking the participants to post that they will be attending.

Thanks to Al for this box and hopefully soon, these will be enjoyed by some of my brothers.

Well as many BOTL's know I live in Houston at the time, but my home town is in Dallas. I will be flying in to Dallas on Thursday morning and plan on meeting at Mike's shop on Sat. When we HERF we have around 5 or 6 brothers from around Dallas meet there. I think the Dallas herf would love the box and seeing the rought time Mike is going through right now with his mom, I think he would really enjoy your wonderful gift... Well, even if we don't get the box, that is one nice gesture you are doing!! Thanks!!! Go Cowboy's :thumbs:

FoR the most part i smoke alone, unless i go to herfs at the Outlaw or the LOLH, so i salute you Brian as a true BOTL. Nice contest! :thumbs:
 
Nice offer, I wasn't even going to give it any thought until I had the box in my hands. You've set the bar pretty high.
 
As part of the North Texas contingent, I'll be at Mike's on Saturday as well! This works well, Mike's a friend and I'm a Pepin HO! I guess that makes Mike a FOH - Friend o' Ho! :laugh:

Regardless of who you gift these smoke to, it is a very generous gesture. :thumbs: I can sympathize with Mike and his situation, and I know for me a great smoke is an escape of the problems of the world. The Glendale Hilton Herf Crew are a bunch of great guys and all very fond of Pepin's products, and would enjoy these very much as well. I would use this opportunity to challenge our So Cal Newbies to come out and represent to continue to grow our numbers and the community. Thanks again for such a great contest and may the best Herf idea win. :thumbs:

I'll be at the Dallas Herf, and I'll throw in a couple more reasons to send it out here.

1. Mike is a huge Pepin fan. He made a Pepin Garcia wall in the humidor at the shop and got a hand rolled Pepin at RTDA.

2. Anything that's left over can go to the troops if you so desire. Mike takes care of all that stuff for us, so he could add a handful more nice smokes to the next shipment.

Some of them are awfully quiet on these boards, but none the less they are here every day (behind the scenes) and all but a couple are exclusively members of CP.

I can't think of more deserving guys to share some Tats in the name of a CP Herf.

Thanks for doing this Brian, you are stand-up brother as well. I hope one day you can join us on Thursday night and see just what I'm always going on about.

Mick, thanks for representing the Twin Cities Thursday night crew. If we win I'll make sure someone gets some pics and post them. If we don't, congrats to those that do. Big thanks to Al for the original give away and to Brian for passing it on!
 
First off, thanks a lot Brian and Al for the generosity and being great BOTL. I want to post that the Thanksgiving Herf at Schlesinger's is officially posted as of yesterday. The date is the Saturday after Turkey day, 11-24-07. Here is the beginning of a great list of attendees:
