I was gifted this stick by a well liked BoTL on this board, and at first didn't know what it was. A quick Google search, and I realized I held in my hand a limited release Tatuaje Drac from 2009. My expectations immediately heightened. The wrapper was impeccable, with a sweet, woodsy aroma. I clipped a small portion off the cap, and was greeted with a perfect draw.
The aroma coming off of the cigar while toasting the foot was mouth watering. I took a few quick puffs to get the smoke flowing, and let the Drac sit for several seconds (Greg style, baby!). I took a whiff of the wrapper, and then took a long, slow draw. I was greeted with an abundance of smoke, medium bodied. The flavors were well rounded with woodsy notes, sweet cream on the finish, with notes of black cherry when exhaled through the nose. Very smooth, no bite or tears. I almost feel back in my chair. The aroma coming off of the cigar was like baked sweet bread. Outstanding!
As the cigar progressed, it picked up some spice and heavy cream, with black licorice on the finish. The black cherry was still there when exhaled through the nose, but it slapped me with its tail on its way out! The tears well up, but I can't get enough and do it again. This is my kind of cigar! I had to fight the burn a bit, but it didn't hamper the experience. It has been humid here lately, so that probably played a factor. I had intended to take more pictures, but I was just enjoying myself so much that I only managed the first  Maybe I got a cracker Drac, but damn this is one fine cigar.
Thanks to the fine brother who was generous enough to share this treat with me. I owe you one!
