Is it wrong to smoke two cigars at once?
I already tried eating different foods while smoking cigars and came up with a surprise or two. I like bagels and creme cheese with Oliva S series - highly recommended! Both have a creamy texture that complement each other well.
Today's double-barreled combo - Brazilia Box-Press and LFD Coronado Corona Gorda. Let me explain one thing first. This LFD is no corona like I've ever seen. It's about 7ins X 60 ring - more like a Churchill on hormones! The Brazilia Box-Press is no small cigar, either, at 54 ring.
Whether these two cigars complement is open to debate. But I am enjoying them both simultaneously. I punched the LFD and straight-cut the Brazilia. The Brazilia starts smooth and builds up to chocolaty intensity with less anise than it's brethren. The Lfd is a bit nutty with a leather background. Both outstanding smokes singly and together, well, they are too much!
For those who don't like large ring gauge cigars, smoke this combo and one large cigar will seem much more "do-able".
Whew, I getting a bit of nicotine here. Conclusion - They do complement each other in flavor(nuts and chocolate) but they are a lttle too big when combined.
