Take cigars out of the wrapper before storing them?

Hey so I'm packing up some cigars to take to Vegas (Alec Bradley Maxx Ego's, over 9") and they don't easily fit in my portable humidor. Well, with the wrapper on anyway. They fit if I take the plastic off, but I don't know if that's going to hurt their storage though or not.

So in short, should I take the plastic off the cigars before I store them or no? Thanks!

If you take the wrappers off, sometimes herpes happen. And what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, except herpes....that shit will come right back with you

Speaking from experience again Los?

Short answer, it is fine to remove the cello. But out of curiosity how thick is you cello that it makes a difference going into a travel humi?

My questions to the cello debate are how yellow is your cello? And is your anejo very mellow in its yellow cello?

Joeb its not that its overly thick in and of itself, but the cello hangs about 2" past the end and when you fold it down that excess makes it difficult to fit in.

Hahahaha, The Hangover. Great :)

If you want to keep the cello on...you could always cut off the excess.

You could always melt the edge of the cello that way it seals in all that cigar goodness!!!

I usually use the vac storage bags, it will shrink them so you can get 50 smokes into the 15 count travel.
