To keep up with tradition… “Tradition!”

I’ll facilitate a Super Bowl Squares contest again this year. I know there isn’t a lot of time and if we can’t fill it up, I won’t be offended.

Here’s how it’ll work.

1. Open to anyone. Members with less than 6 months of tenure will be required to mail in cigars prior to being locked in, unless they are vouched for by another reputable member who is willing to cover their bid.

2. One, $10.00 (box price) stick per square.

3. 4 square minimum. No maximum. This may need to be adjusted and approved on by all participants in order to fill all squares or to allow all interested members to participate.

4. Payout structure will be 15% at the end of 1st and 3rd quarters and 30% at the end of the first half and 40% at the end of the game.

Respond with I’m in and how many squares you want.

PM me if I’m missing anything, or if you have any questions or recommendations. I’ll update this post to add participants and to post the link to the board when/if the time comes.

Since the time is limited, tell me if this helps. For any newbies who want to play, instead of you waiting to get their cigars to "officially" assign their squares, they could send the money to me via Venmo or Zelle. This would be their commitment without you having to wait.

Once they send their cigars, I would send their money back, if they don't, I will send cigars on their behalf.

Tell me if this works and how you would want the particulars handled.
