I would love to see a more functional search feature. As it currently stands, the basic search is really useless, and the advanced search requires some real finesse with choosing options for it to function. I really don't know if it is possible to "fix" with the size of the database now, but I am afraid some of the old threads are going to be lost forever.
Any way some of the defaults can be expanded to compensate? I can give you some examples of issues if necessary, starting with the view content features in profiles?
You can always press the <Home> button on your keyboard, too. That'll work on any website.
Good point. We need to repair the Sphinx server, which used to be the primary back-end search engine for CP. It broke during one of the upgrades, and requires some linux and php programming to get it working again. This will be on the top of the list of things to do...
