I'm a lawyer, not a physicist....please forgive my increduible ignorance. I figure I should know this, as I now have three rather large (to the untrained eye) humidors.
Here's the question: My digital hygrometer....does it tell me absolute humidity or relative humidity? Right now, it is reading 61%, and the temp is right around 60. If it is reading absolute, chances are, the environment is too dry for the cigars, right.
As long as my cigars have to be stored where they are (they do, becasue in the summer, it is the only place that stays cold enough), i think I should move to 70% beads for the winter.
Am I wrong? My cigars have been smoking fine, but one or two have seemed a tad on the dry side.
Input would be appreciated.
I need just give in and order the cliate controlled cabinet.
IF, on the other hand, the digital reads RH, then I'm all fine, move on, nothing to see here.
Thanks,
Josh
