A $93 dollar standing room only (which was expensive to begin with) is going for $215 starting auction bid
a $51 dollar bleacher seat is going for $350

what fake fans! If I could afford a full season plan i would go to all the games and the times that i could not make it i would sell the tickets for face value to another fan. But i definitely would not buy my season tickets just to place half or more of them on stub hub.
how are you going to buy a world series ticket and not go to the world series. I can understand if your a doctor and a major sugery or case presents itself close to or before the big game but anyone who buys a ticket should go to the game if your a true fan.

stop letting greed and an easy buck get the better of you.

i was hoping to buy a ticket and have a story for the future when i have a kid so that i can tell him hey son/daughter, back in 2009 your dad went and watched the first worlds series at the new yankee stadium (cause we all know 20yrs from now we will still call it the new yankee stadium) and he can be like really dad how was it and i could have a proud child father moment.

Its not like i can tell them hey i sat in these seats when Hideki Matsui hit a grand slam to become the first Yankee to stroke a grand slam in his first game in the Bronx b/c those seats are gone.
I do get to say i was there when the yankees played the mets in the new yankee stadium and in true MET fashion they drop the ball in the bottom of the 9th on the last out to let the Yankees score to win the game. But thats the Mets and not as exciting as a world series game.

I wanna go but i'm not willing to sell a left kidney or a part of my liver because as we all know i like the booze and need both kidneys and a full liver.

Hey at least you're still in nyc to see it. I was going to go to the Clemens 4000K 300 win game, but tickets on the hub and craigslist were all too high.

Just food for thought, real fans aren't bnuying those tickets at those prices. It's mainly impulse buyers so they can say I went to the game.

Watch it on TV with some friends and smoke and drink, then laugh your ass off at all those that are standing watching the game.

thinking of going to coppersmiths on 50something, went there a couple years ago to watch the playoffs and it is a big yankee bar with a large projection screen in the back, maybe we can all go to the Mac to watch one of the games
