Ok. So I'm out of room in my humidor just like everyone else, but I have an extra box of Onyx Reserves. I was thinking of sealing it in a tupperware container with a drymistat tube inside. The box is no longer shrink wrapped but the cigars are still in their cellos.

How long can I keep them sealed in there? Do I have to open it up once in a while a let it breathe? And will the cigars age well?

You will need to open it once in a while just to check the humidity level and add fluid if nothing else. The cigars will keep and age just like in a humidor for quite some time...years.

DO the Onyx Reserves get better with age? or are they something that should just be smoked now?

I can't say for sure I've only had 3 or 4 and they weren't that old.

Age makes a big difference with these. I've got some mini belis that are a a couple of years old that rock. Very smooth and still full bodied.

Great! So Today I opened up my tupperware to check on it, and there's this white powdering stuff lining the base inside the tupperware. I think it's mold, in fact I"m sure it's mold, I immediately took my box out, put hot water in the tuppwerware and cleaned it out, Then I put some rubbing alcohol in side and left it there to kill off all the germs.

I think I'll wait a few hours, let everything dry off, and then put the box back in. Or do you think I can't use that tupperware anymore because of the rubbing alcohol. Anything I should check for in my cigar box for potential early stages of molding?
