Storage Temperature Questions

Hey guys,

So you all have corrupted me to the point of no return...
Ive been on CP for a little over a month, and I am already looking into vinotemps and other wine coolers. Thanks :D haha

Anyway I found a killer deal for a 30 bottle magic chef (ewave) for only $100
However, after reading the specs, I have some concerns and questions...

Company manual says that the cooler temp can go up to 66.2 degrees farenheit. This isnt really the concern as that is a very acceptable temp.
My concern is the fact that the manual says that different levels in the cooler can hold differnt temps...

Top = 66
Middle = 62
Bottom = 58

It also states that the projected temps can fluctuate +/- 5 degrees

58 sounds pretty chilly, and taking the fluctuation into account 53 dosent sound very good at all.

I would be storing beads on the bottom, but sooner rather than later (according to you all), Im sure boxes will be acompanying the beads on the bottom of the cooler.

Is this something that everyone deals with and accepts? Or does this cooler sound like a piece of ....?
Im sure the low temps would create problems with the humidity levels...and I am assuming it cant be good for the cigars.

Lemme noe what you guys think...

Thanks

-Steven

Fan(s) = no stress. 62 Fahrenheit is an acceptable mean range. The target range, actually, for some. For the right price, any wine cooler I've come across can be converted to a damn fine cigar storage unit - despite the various hurdles many of them respectively present for that conversion.

And depending on how hot you get where you live might be enough to offset the temp in the positive range. :)
