So, I just moved out of the house I lived in for almost 28 years and what do you think I found stashed deep in my garage? Two cases of home brew that have to be 10+ years old!!

I can't find my log book (haven't brewed in 6-7 years) to find out what they are. I have "P" on the caps of one case (Porter?) and a bunch of symbols that I can't figure out WTF I was thinking at the time to identify them.

What do you guys think?...chuck them?...or open a few.

Can beer age that long?

Gotta try it, imo. No idea how homebrew ages over 10 years, though. :D

Bust one open and ask Anthony what he thinks; if the kid spits it out there's your answer.......

Kidding aside, I have no idea how they'll be. I'd think a good sniff would tell much......

The things you find when you move, eh Gary...??

Definitely give them a try. I think it was Charlie P. that wrote an article about trying some of his first batches of homebrew years down the road and them still all being drinkable, though some were definitely past their prime.
