i've been trying for the past few months to find good information on starting a cigar shop but i can't find any information or resources if you could help me out at all that would be awesome. fnlewisda@hotmail.com

Maybe he'll be like some of those other jokers/vendors that post here that have 3 or 4 different names for the same business?

What's that guys name again with the "Weekly Steals"? The one that stole all his pics from other websites? He's got at least 2 or 3 different names for his site.

But in all seriousness, welcome to the site, you seem like a nice guy. I wish you the best of luck. I would try and get in contact with KevinWHoecker or the folks at Cheapercigars.com, or Rick from DandSCigars. Those guys should be able to help you out with getting started and figuring out which direction you'll want to go with your new store. They all just started up recently as well, and have been doing really well, and have rec'd a warm welcome here at CPass. In fact, DandSCigars actually has his own line of cigars that he recently gifted to a bunch of members for a trial, and I think they would be a great addition to any inventory you may carry!

I think you can find a good deal on a Nasa inspired humidor over in the buy/sell/trade forum. :D :whistling:

That would be our pal at The Cigar Emporium AKA: Tarheel Cigars and maybe more names to follow. Stay tuned!

This has to be the best example of "subtle sarcasm" that I've ever had the fortune to read.

Ah, the quiet beauty of a stealth missile...

No ****!!

Most people here are consumers, not retailers, so you are going to get that perspective.

Do you have prior retail experience? That would be a plus. You should probably join RTDA and try to network through it for ideas. You will get better info there than here (assuming of course that other retailers want to help a potential competitor).
