...yeah, but if you can pick it up for anywhere close to the current price, you got a very good deal.

If you've got a place for a corner unit, this looks like it's a great opportunity.
 
Now the wife is arguing, saying what is wrong with me for not gettig it. I will watch it and see. You are right though for one large, its a steal. Hell for two large its still a steal.
 
A beautiful piece indeed, but I wonder what the box capacity would be with the triangular configuration. ???

Good point....I wondered the same thing.

But, if it could be had for anywhere close to the asking price, and if a guy could pick it up, it might be a pretty good deal even if the storage configuration wasn't "optimal".

If you are seriously interested, I would suggest taping off a section on the floor or a large counter ( with painters tape ) so you can get an authentic "footprint" of what an interior shelf would be like, and then experiment with some boxes.

42 inches across the front / 2 sides are 29 3/4 inches each. The interior depth is 19 1/2 inches from front to back.

It really is a nice looking piece - I am just being the devil's advocate regarding form over function, before you drop big $$$ in a ( possible ) bidding war.
 
I feel very lucky that my finished basement stays right around 60% RH for most of the year. I haven't added water to my beads in the coolerdors yet this year. :D

That being said, I'll pass even though this is a nice looking piece. I do wonder though about how many cigars and boxes this thing can hold though.
 
About 20 cubic feet.....that will hold a lot of sticks, especially if you stack them on end......... :laugh:
 
If a someone outside the area wants to bid on it, I live 3 hours north and could pick it up for them. Things would have to be arranged from there but that would give you some time to get your duckies in a row.

If you look at the Q&A the seller says if the buyer arranges a truck he'll pack it for shipping at cost. Not a bad option if you live too far away to pick it up yourself.

It is very beautiful.

I live in Cleveland, TN. That's probably half way from KY to B-ham. I'll drive down with you and help you load her up. There's a shop called The Briary I've been wanting to visit. :D
 
The guy said he has sold it locally for 1500. Who knows, he didn't even know if had "Peltier" (sp) fans or not. We shall see. Its funny cause he said he wasn't going to end the sale early, then out of no where he does.
 
So, it's sold but seeing if he can get more? I can't make sense of the cooling, but best i can tell it's not cooled?
