Spring Training

Hey guys, One of my favorite part of the year is the Baseball Spring Training. Reason why is, most of the teams play within miles from each other, Florida or Arizona. These past two years I have not been able to keep the tradition going, because I am a Baseball Coach myself. However, I was thinking of taking a long weekend Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday to Florida and hang around the Tampa, Sarasota area as well as maybe heading to the Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex, to watch My favorite player (chipper Jones) play.

I was wondering if we could if all goes well, set up an Baseball spring Training herf. I know this would be most difficult to those who live far away, but I figure if I gave enough time for a weekend long event we may be able to get something going.

The first Spring Training game is on March 20th.

My brother plays in the Reds organization and their spring training is in Sarasota (last year there, next year it's Arizona). I went last year for several days and had a blast. Weather was awesome and made a trip to Ybor City in Tampa as well.

I doubt I'll be making a trip to see him play this spring training. We're expecting twins in the next few weeks so things will be pretty hectic around my house. I think my wife would kill me if I told her I was going to sunny Florida for the weekend and leaving her with a 6 year old, a 4 year old, and twins!
