I have a large chest I was thinking of converting into a storage humidor but I've been having trouble finding enough spanish cedar at a resonable price. So I was wondering what if another (less expensive) wood would provide enough RH stability if a good humidifier (oasis) was used? I know spanish cedar is the best but I don't see why something else wouldn't be adequate? Just wodering.
