I finally gotten aroundsmoking a Sosa torpedo gifted to me by Rob300c. It had been resting in my humi for 2 months and it has been calling for my attention for some time now. Today was the day to sacrifice this nice stick to the fire Gods.
Nice looking torpedo with darkish brown wrapper. The nose of this cigar was pleasant and the prelight draw was easy but not loose. Lighting the foot was no problem and we're off to the races.
First few puffs gave way to a sweet, espresso taste with a very slight pper finish. The smoke was thick and luscious. After the first third a grassy note was added to the flavors above. The cigar needed to be re-touched for the un even burn but behave nicely. The last third the pepper finish was over come by the espresso taste. The sweet taste was more subdued but the grassy notes persisted.
I enjoyed this cigar very much and thank you Rob for sharing this fabulous secret.
