Played some no limit hold 'em at the club last night... and had enough Scotch to make me feel like I'd been run over by a kid on his new xMas tricycle today. We played for a pretty long time, so I had a lot of smokes:

AVO LE 2005 -- I'm really liking these cigars. Very tasty smokes, I can imagine with some age on 'em they might become as classic as the 22's

Montecristo D 2005 EL -- I'm not a big fan of the Montes in general, though I've had a very aged Especial that I thought was incredible. This cigar was enjoyable, but I wouldn't buy them (it was gifted to me). Mediocre, IMHO... in fairness, it is young, but for the money there are many better smokes out there for my tastes.

Trinidad Fundadores 2003 -- It wasn't plugged, burned well, tastes were pleasant but relatively subtle and young. Needs more age.

Opus X No.5 2005 -- The perfect little spicy bomb to crash through my then crusted palate. Excellent smoke to end the night.

I love the LE 5 and the 22. They are great smokes with a good amount of stregth and spice. Every time I am in my B&M these are the first things I look at.

Hmm,

My B&M in Rhode Island keeps pushing the Avo LEs at me. Maybe it's time I took a nibble. As for the Monte D's, I've put down two of the mini-cabs. My bet is that they will become even more superlative with 5 years on.

Wilkey

Wow...4 fairly potent cigars in one evening...

I would have been sick from all the nicotene!!
