While smoking yesterday, I noticed a soft spot about the size of a pencil eraser near where I was holding it. It was kinda mushy...Before I smoked it I didn't notice it, it was about 1/2 way through. Also, there was a blemish on the wrapper right above it. I wouldn't say it was a beetle hole because it was not round or pronounced. More like a small scrape....Start of a beetle?

Any thoughts?

Much appreciated!

Soft spots can be simple rolling errors. The blemish could just be some kind of water mark from moisture pooling in the soft area at one point.

Idk, I say cut it open and post pics. 'Could be a learning experience for all of us.

Ha! Cut open the next cigar you smoke that has a similar mark.

Did you enjoy the smoke?

If yes, don't put too much thought in it. Hell, we are smoking beetles all the time, they just haven't shown their head yet.

Now there's a thought I want in my head when I smoke my next Padron!
