So we had our pig roast last night........

And what a night it was. A full house and, except for the unfortunate pigs (Allah be praised), we all had a ball. We roasted 2 35lb piglets in the traditional Cuban roaster boxes, La Caja China

One of our members, of Cuban decent, did the roasting and his Mom made rice and black beans and Yucca roasted with onions. Plus there was roasted chicken, salads, baked beans, etc.

Humberto Gonzalez gave out Cojones cigars in various sizes and John Conroy of General Cigar gave out Cohibas, Partegas, Macanudos. A micro brewery named Cricket Hill supplied the Ale and Lager.

Hey Rosco
Humerto and Jonh are great. They both came to our first large event this year in DE. Great times had by all, At both events looks like! Your pig guy, does he do this as a business? If so let me know. It would be cool to have someone do a pig like that at our next event.

The guy that roasted the pigs, Alex, is a lieutenant on the Newark, NJ PD. He is of Cuban decent and his Mom seasoned the little piggies (Allah be praised) the night before with lots of garlic. Should not be hard to do. Does not cost alot to put together.
