I almost have every detail of it laid out except the air evac system? I have searched this site and found many items/suggestions but most seem to be "somewhat" effective.

Obviously, I don't want to spend $2000 for a small commercial unit, the room is approx 12 x 12.

Any ideas guys?

My room is only about 9 x 10 so I went with the largest and most quiet exhaust fan that Lowes sold. It is a Nutone but looks like it was made by Broan. It was made for continuous running. I also have a ceiling fan that I run clockwise. With that and the fan going I've had no problems so far.

Eventualy I'll finish this project and post some pictures.

I am going to install a ceiling fan.....vented to the attice. No need to vent it outside at my house...

When I put my fan in I had it vented to the attic in my garage. I only smoked for about an hour while I finished up some wiring. The next day my whole garage and car smelled pretty badly. Then I got the idea to extend the vent to the soffit and have it blow out there. We'll it turns out the soffit is vented but the plywood it is nailed to is solid. :0

To make a long story short I ended up venting it outside where I should have done it in the first place. It would have saved me 6 trips up to my attic, which is about 15' over my garage.

You may want to rethink venting into the attic. ;)
