Smoking, hands-free

So.. I did a quick search and only found 1 topic that tangentially covered thsi topic (here)

How many of y'all keep a cigar in your mouth while smoking, so your hands are free? If you do, when and how long? Saliva problems? I find it annoying to keep picking up and putting a cigar down while typing on the computer and such, but always seem to just hold it while relaxing, reading, etc.

I used to chew on swishers, so when I first started smoking cigars I would leave it in my mouth. Because I smoke outside, the wind would always end up blowing smoke and ash into my eye. So I am back to just holding it or setting it on top of my coffee mug.

I can't keep it in my mouth due to the fact, that I keep trying to draw, and I'll inhale a big thing of smoke and gag to death. That's just me though.

What gets me is the smoke that blows back into my nose/eyes.

So an airy environment, plus a long vitola, are the key if that's what I am trying to do.

Nah, if you can't put what you're doing down long enough to concentrate on your smoke, then you're not paying enough attention to the cigar!

If I go hands free it's not for long. I usally don't smoke when I'm that involved in something.

Generally keep the cigar in my mouth unless it has a large ring gauge.

Was smoking on the porch last night and decided to bring a recycle bin to the curb with a cigar in my mouth. Bad idea. Like a newb I blinded myself and almost tripped on my face.

I usually smoke holding it in my hand. If I do hold it in my mouth it is only for a few seconds.

bring my left hand up, take a puff, drop my hand.

repeat.

I went and got one of these . Had to modify it a bit to hold a cigar, but it works great.
